75 of those Involved in U.S Embassy Events Have Been Released

Chancellor Mohamed Al-Attar, Oppositions Judge at the Qasr El-Nile Misdemeanor Court, has issued a judgment to release 21 of those involved in the American Embassy events based on their place of residence, while other 36 people have been released on a EGP 2000 bail.

On the other hand, the advocates have requested terminating the temporal imprisonment of the defendants, in addition to releasing them without warranties. They also pointed out that the defendants are a group of young people who have no previous charges. They further asked the court to take into consideration that the accused people are studying at universities or schools and need to be released in order to pursue their education.
