12 injured in a car crash at Egypt’s new administrative capital

Egypt’s Health Ministry said on Saturday that 12 people were injured in a car crash after a car collided with a microbus on the Regional Ring Road in front of the county’s New Administrative Capital City.

Official spokesman of the Health Ministry Khaled Megahid said that six ambulances were rushed to the scene immediately after the accident, and transferred the injured to the National Bank of Egypt Hospital in Cairo.

He pointed out that the injuries ranged from suspected fractures of the spine, leg and forearm, brain hemorrhage, bruises and abrasions to various parts of the bodies.

He added that all hospital staff, medical kits, medicines, supplies, and blood bags are available in the hospital, and all the injured received treatment and care.
