Dozens of families who seized the apartments of the Housing Ministry in the 15th of May City have staged a sit-in today in front of the Cabinet building, stating their willingness to buy these apartments.
Protesters refuted the Housing Minister’s description of them as thugs, pointing out that they transfer their sit-in to the headquarter of the Ministry of Housing unless their demands are met.
On the other hand, security bodies have been intensively deployed in the area, in addition to forming a cordon around the protesters to prevent them from breaking into the cabinet.
The number of protesters have reached about 408 families living in the 15th of May city.
