2 dead, 6 injured in car crash in Egypt’s Kafr El-Sheikh

Two people died and six people were injured Saturday night when two cars collided on the north coast sea highway in Baltim in the Nile Delta’s Kafr El-Sheikh.

Those injured suffered bruises and fractures.

In December, three people were killed on the same road when a microbus overturned.

According to the Global Status Report on Road Safety by the World Health Organization, there were 10,466 road traffic fatalities in Egypt in 2015.
