27,000 medics in Spain have tested positive for coronavirus

More than 27,000 healthcare workers in Spain have tested positive for coronavirus, an official at the country’s Emergency Coordination Centre announced during a news conference Wednesday.

“Many of those infected have recovered and are back at work.” Fernando Simon, the director of the center, said.

Coronavirus cases in Spain have passed 180,659 cases, with more than and 18,812 deaths as of Wednesday, according to Worldometers.
