Eight construction firms, affiliated to the state-owned Holding Company for Construction and Development (HCCD), are anticipating the ministerial decree approving the development of 109,000 metre square located in the Northern Expansions, 6 October City in two week.
The firms are waiting the green light to start the construction works of the project that would include variety of activities with total expected investments exceeding 3 billion Egyptian pounds.
There will be commercial, medical, administrative and service activities in the project, other than educational institutions.
A source with knowledge said that the companies have finished all the designs of the targeted projects on the allocated land plots. He added that an area of 109,000 metre square of the total area of 50 feddans would be assigned for the various service facilities, while the rest of the area would be allocated for landscaping and open gardens.
The land plots have been distributed among the firms with areas between 4,000 and 35,000, the source added.
Moreover, the companies include Cairo For Contracting and Real Estate Investment, El Saeed Contracting and Real Estate, El Giza General Co. For Contracting & Real Estate, The Egyptian Contracting Co. Al-ABD, El Mahmoudia General Contracting & Real Estate Investment, El- Nasr Building and Construction Company (EGYCO) and El Shams For Housing & Building.
