Fire Insurance Committee To Hold Symposium On Sound Underwriting

The Fire Insurance Committee at the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) plans to hold a meeting next week to finalize the final features of its second symposium in 2012 which will discuss the basics and rules of the sound underwriting of fire insurance, said Walid Sayed, member of the Committee.

The Committee will determine the date and the lecturers of the symposium, besides, the main points they will focus on. The symposium is slated to discuss the stock insurance policy and the main points of reinsurance agreements related to such matter. The Fire Insurance Committee held its first symposium for this year in February 2012 which discussed natural disaster insurance.
