The U.S. coronavirus cases have reached 755,533 on Sunday, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The country’s total fatalities have exceeded 40,000 people, a quarter of all deaths from the pandemic across the globe, Johns Hopkins data added.
U.S. President Donald Trump said that officials now expect the total death toll to be “substantially under” initial estimates, which means that the U.S. could see at least 100,000 deaths.
