Egypt reports 226 new coronavirus cases, 21 deaths

Egypt reported on Wednesday 226 new coronavirus cases, bringing its overall nationwide tally to 5,268, according to a health ministry statement.

The country also registered 21 new deaths due to the novel coronavirus, bringing the total to 380. But 31 more patients recovered on Wednesday, for a total of 1,335 recoveries, the statement added.
