Egypt’s MSMEDA says has provided EGP 8 billion to women entrepreneurs since mid-2014
Egypt’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) provided 8 billion Egyptian pounds ($505.7 million) in funding to projects run by women entrepreneurs from July 2014 until the end of last March, its executive director Nevine Gamea said on Wednesday.
The funding was directed to the establishment of more than 500,000 projects, accounting for 46 percent of the total number of projects funded by MSMESA during the said period, Gamea added in a statement on Wednesday.
