After weeks of covid19 lockdown, Egypt starts to ease restrictions
Egypt will reopen restaurants, coffee shops and sporting clubs at a reduced capacity of 25 percent in the first phase of reopening after months of closure due to the spread of coronavirus starting 27 June, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said.
It will shorten a nighttime curfew imposed to limit the spread of the coronavirus to begin at 12 am starting Saturday
Madbouly announced new preventive measures, lifting a closure since March of cafes, restaurants and clubs.
Cafes and restaurants will be allowed to reopen until 10 pm, with shops closing at 9 pm.
Egypt will reopen mosques for daily prayers, yet it will continue suspending Friday prayers.
Cinemas and theaters to reopen at a reduced capacity of 25 percent. However, all public parks and beaches will be remained closed.
