Sisi directs Egyptian govt. to reduce water shortage
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi directed the government to exert more efforts to reduce water shortage and improve the quality of water.
The country’s water conservation strategy includes the construction of water desalination and treatment plants, at a value worth 435 billion Egyptian pounds ($27.3 million), according to a presidential statement on Monday.
Sisi also stressed on the importance of localising the technology of water treatment plants.
