GB Auto official distributor of US Goodyear Tires in Egypt

EGX-listed GB Auto has been given the distribution rights for Goodyear tires in Egypt as the American tire manufacturer looks to expand its footprint in the country, according to a company statement.

The agreement “completes and consolidates [GB’s] positions in the premium and prestige segments,” GB Auto COO Karim Gaddas said.

The company has its eyes on launching a Goodyear-branded tire express network across Egypt as of next year, which comes as the company plans to “continue investing in the development and upgrade of its distribution networks.” The statement does not provide further details of the plans.
