Egypt reports 224 new coronavirus cases, 12 deaths on Friday

Egypt seen 224 new coronavirus cases on Friday, reporting a total tally of 110,319 cases since the outbreak began in mid-February.

The health ministry also reported 12 new deaths, bringing the total deaths from the virus to 6,429.

The statement said that 87 patients had been discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 100,847.
