PM visits a wiring cable factory in Port Said with EGP8 billion investments

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli visited  SE Wiring Systems Egypt company factory, located in South Port Said Industrial Zone with investments exceeding more than 8 billion Egyptian Pounds

The factory is affiliated to Sumitomo Corporation, a Japan-based manufacturing company that operates in several business segments.

Established on an area of 50,000 square meters, the factory employs 12,000 staffers and workers, its officials said.

The officials briefed the prime minister on the new expansions being carried out, noting that the SE Wiring Systems Egypt company has built another factory on an area of 10,000 square meters, with total investments of 2 billion pounds.

The expansions have been implemented in less than six months, they said, adding that the new factory has generated some 1,500 job opportunities.

The officials noted that the factory produces electrical wiring systems and cables for all kinds of vehicles, which they said are entirely exported to France, the UK, Italy, the Czech Republic, Russia, and the US, as well as to major global automakers
