Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar deposit $13 billion in Egypt’s central bank – report
Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar deposited $13 billion with Egypt’s central bank during the first quarter of the year, a recent central bank report showed.
According to the report, the Egyptian central bank received short-term deposits worth $5 billion from Saudi Arabia, $5 billion from the UAE in addition to $3 billion from Qatar.
The central bank also renewed a currency swap worth $2.8 billion with China at end of March.
