Yahoo is preparing for a major restructuring process

News reports said on Monday that U.S. Internet services company “Yahoo”, is preparing to undertake a major restructuring process including laying off thousands of employees in the same time when the new CEO Scott Thompson is trying to refresh the global leading internet company that faces serious difficulties for years.

The blog “All Things Digital” that relates to “The Wall Street Journal” American newspaper indicated that at the time Yahoo owns a group of the most famous websites in the world, its market share declines in internet advertising market strongly, as the competition with other sites such as Google and Facebook becomes more severe.

Thompson was assigned by Yahoo!, as the new chief executive officer by the last January in order to restore things to normal, and now it is expected to lay off thousands of employees in the company, according to Al-ahram gate.
