EasyJet offers Brits all-inclusive winter holiday to Egypt

British airline EasyJet holidays has launched 28-day all-inclusive package holiday to Egypt, as it considers the trip cheaper than paying the average UK household’s monthly winter bills.

The package will cost each traveller £650 (14,418.00 Egyptian pounds), which covers flight, food, drink, and accommodation at the five-star Stella Gardens resort in Egypt’s Makadi Bay in Hurghada for one month.

Upon a survey, commissioned by the holiday provider across a nationally representative body of 2,000 respondents, it found that 47 to 70 percent of young people would consider leaving UK to escape rising costs of living.

EasyJet holidays suggested that British people will be able to rent out their homes and work remotely, which could even save money amid the cost of living crisis by emigrating to Egypt in winter season.

The holiday providers’ researchers say that its price is £227 cheaper than the £877 average cost of household bills per person over the same period in the UK. The traveller will enjoy even complimentary Wi-Fi with free spa and gym access, and TV streaming.

This is made up of £415.33 on accommodation; £143.11 for food; £110.83 for food takeaways; £105.78 for travel; £68.06 for gas and electric; £17.50 for phone; £12.06 for water; and £4.18 on TV streaming services.

Britain’s economy is expected to shrink around 0.2 percent each quarter from October to June 2023, economists have warned.

While, the economic forecasting group has significantly downgraded its previous summer forecast which estimated the economy would grow by 1 percent in 2023.
