IDSC launches online platform to highlight Egypt’s climate efforts – COP27

Egyptian Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) has launched on Sunday an online platform entitled Green Map of Egypt to review state’s efforts to counter climate change.

The new platform coincides with the launching of UN climate conference (COP27) hosted by Egypt, which kicks off on Sunday and will last to 18 November in Sharm El Sheikh.

The platform includes dashboards showing the world’s environmental footprint map and environmental projects from Egypt’s database and national projects, such as electric vehicle charging stations and distribute it nationwide among accredited green hotels, IDSC mentioned in a statement.

Noteworthy, the centre reviews its various efforts in promoting the government’s efforts regarding the transition to a green and sustainable economy.
