Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zaidan on Tuesday survived an attack by a group of armed men in al-Baida city, some 200 km east of Benghazi, local Belgrai al-Baida Newspaper said.
Zaidan visited al-Baida city to hold a meeting with members of the city’s local council.
During the meeting at al-Tilal resort, a group of gunmen launched the attack against the resort, but Zaidan survived the attack safely, while some cars of his convoy were damaged, the report quoted eyewitnesses as saying.
