Asian markets briefing 19/04/2023

The Asian markets closed low on Wednesday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, falling by -0.68 percent. The index lost 23.2 points to close at 3,370.13. It recorded a day high value of 3,394.96 and a day low value of 3,364.64.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, dropped by -0.18 percent to 28,606.76, losing 52.07 points. It recorded a day high value of 28,677.22 and a day low value of 28,531.54.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, fell by -1.37 percent and lost 282.75 points. The index closed at 20,367.76, recording a day high value of 20,633.00 and a day low value of 20,336.71.
