Kamel Amr, Paulo Pinheiro Are Against Military Intervention In Syria

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Kamel Amr has agreed with Paulo Pinheiro, Head of the Independent International Investigation Commission, on the necessity of avoiding any external military intervention in Syria, and finding a political solution that ends the Syria crisis.

The minister said the political solutions will encircle the human rights violations. This came during the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ meeting with Paulo Pinheiro and the escorted delegation on Sunday morning.

During the meeting, Paulo Pinheiro reviewed the efforts exerted by the commission and recording the violations against the human rights in Syria.

He showed his interest in the Egyptian role and praised the Egyptian government for exerting extra effort to support his mission, and helping the Syrians.
