Honda predicts19% profit jump
Honda Motor Co. predicts a 19 percent increase in its operating profit on Thursday, after failing to meet analyst forecasts in the fourth quarter.
The Japanese automaker is expecting the operating profit to reach $7.40 billion, as it sees higher sales volume and to benefit from a strengthening supply chain.
It is worth mentioning that the company has reported its operating profit for the first three months of 2023 was $785 million.
