AfDB announces new Ten-year Strategy

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) held a virtual consultation workshop on its new Ten-year strategy 2023-2032 on Monday.

The new strategy will give a vision on how the bank can make further achievements to increase Africa’s inclusive, green, and resilient growth.

In addition to “development at a time of significant global and regional changes and promising prospects” according to the bank’s website.

The workshop convened a variety of participants from African Regional Economic Communities as well as the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat.

The purpose of the workshop is to ensure that the priorities of the Bank’s stakeholders are appreciated and shown in the new strategy.
