Egypt Post signed a cooperation protocol with the online lending marketplace Qardy on Sunday to allow small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access services via post offices across the country.
According to Egypt Post’s Chairman, Sherif Farouk, the protocol is set to facilitate the SMEs’ access to needed financing offered by Qardy.
This will ensure the protocol will help entrepreneurs obtain the necessary financing in a fast and seamless way, he added.
The deal is part of the country’s framework to achieve financial inclusion for all social classes, along with various financing services through the post offices.
Qardy’s Founder, Abdelaziz Abdel Nabi, said that it will also contribute to widening Qardy’s customer base.
