The United Arab Emirates recorded its highest foreign direct investment (FDI) inflow figure of $23 billion in 2022 despite a 12 percent global decline in foreign investment traffic around the world, said Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister.
UAE is the fourth largest recipient of new venture investments in the world, with a total of 997 projects after the United States, Britain, and India. The UAE recorded an 80 percent rise in new ventures compared to the previous year.
“Our appreciation to all the regulatory, legislative and service agencies that provide their services to make the UAE the best global investment environment,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
