The Egyptian Ministry of Finance will offer one-year dollar-denominated treasury bills worth US$ one billion in an auction next Monday so as to roll over US$ one billion in one-year dollar-denominated treasury bills that will be due on payment on January 18th.
The latest auction of dollar-denominated treasury bills was in mid-December as the Ministry raised US$ 1.220 billion in 364-day T-bills, registering average rate of 3.213%.
The Ministry of Finance uses dollar-denominated treasury bills to support its foreign reserves and pay dues.
