Iraqi Red Crescent sends 20 tons of medical aid to Palestine via Egypt

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society on Sunday prepared boxes containing 20 tons humanitarian aid bound for Egypt, to be then distributed to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The fourth Iraqi medical supplies batch comes amid a four-day truce brokered between Israel and Hamas which has seen a pause in the bombardment of the besieged enclave.

Remarkably, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society has previously delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent nearly 32 tons of food, assistance, and medical supplies to the Palestinian Red Crescent.
