Egypt’s RCS, KRCS collaborate to send new aid convoy for Palestinians

The Egyptian Red Crescent Society (ERCS) and Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRCS) launched on Monday a new humanitarian relief aid convoy to the embattled Gaza Strip, Kuwait Times reported on Monday.

Anwar Al-Hasawi, KRCS Vice President said that the humanitarian support includes 35 trucks loaded with medical supplies, food, and clothing materials, amounting to about 500 tons.

The humanitarian aid also included relief materials and ambulances via the air bridge coming from the State of Kuwait with 28 aircraft to Al-Arish Airport, said the executive director of ERCS, Rami Al-Nazer.
