Israel’s military kills more than 170 Palestinians as Gaza truce ends
Israel’s military resumed combat in the Gaza Strip after a week-long truce, killing more than 170 Palestinians, many of them women and children, the Hamas-run health ministry said on Friday.
The occupying forces destroyed the Halima Mosque in the Khan Yunis city, located in the south of the Gaza Strip, leading to multiple injuries among worshippers and significant structural damage to the religious site.
It is worth mentioning that more than 1.7 million people have been displaced in Gaza, where health officials say the death toll had surpassed 15,000 after weeks of Israeli attacks and new deaths were reported on Saturday.
