South Korea’s biggest auto maker Hyundai Motor Company reported on Thursday its global sales that reached 315,555 units in January of 2024, with a 1.8 per cent year-over-year increase.
Sales outside South Korea grew by 2.8 per cent to 265,745 units in January. While, sales in South Korea dropped by 3.3 per cent to record 49,810 units in January compared to 51,503 units in the same month last year.
The company aims to achieve global sales of 4.24 million units, including its Genesis luxury brand, the report added. It is targeting sale of 3.54 million units in overseas markets and 704,000 units in South Korea.
