Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) ended in green notes on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.93 per cent, to 25,896.56 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 rose by 0.79 per cent, to 5,676.81 points.
The index, EGX100 index soared by 0.95 per cent, to 8,233.26 points.
The total market capitalisation recorded 1,752,141,614,054 Egyptian pounds.
Arab and non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 289,675,101 Egyptian pounds, and 4,369,269,468 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians’ transactions were mainly buyers with 4,658,944,569 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of Pioneers Properties for Urban Development (PREDCO) (PRDC.CA) soared by 10.00 per cent, to close at the price of 2.640 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Lecico Egypt (LCSW.CA) climbed by 8.22 per cent, to trade at the price of 26.460 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Speed Medical (SPMD.CA) jumped by 7.91 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.341 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) sank by 18.69 per cent, to close at 2.350 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptians for Investment & Urban Development (EIUD.CA) plunged by 18.01 per cent, to close at 0.173 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Minapharm Pharmaceuticals (MIPH.CA) slid by 10.08 per cent, to close at the price of 191.980 Egyptian pounds a share.
