Egypt secures $131m from AfDB

Egypt received a significant boost for its economic goals with a recent agreement. The Ministry of International Co-operation secured $131 million in financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB). This funding shall be allocated to boost both private sector investment and broader economic diversification efforts.

The AFDB financing offers a favourable repayment structure with a maturity of 21 years, including an 8-year grace period.
