Saudi EXIM Bank, InvestChile sign agreement

The Saudi Export-Import Bank (Saudi EXIM Bank) and the Chilean Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (InvestChile) have formalised their collaboration with a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday aimed at enhancing trade and investment relations between the two countries.

The agreement, signed during a Saudi-Chilean investment roundtable in Santiago, Chile, has focused on promoting Saudi exports, particularly non-oil products, and increasing Saudi investments in Chile.

Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef highlighted the significance of the MoU as a key step in advancing economic ties and fostering collaborative investment opportunities between the two countries. He further emphasised the importance of the Chilean market for Saudi exporters and expressed optimism that the agreement would boost Saudi exports and support the diversification and expansion of Saudi markets.
