Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.59 per cent, to 29,706.7 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 jumped by 0.32 to 2,856.32 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 fell by 0.73 per cent, to 6,605.36 points.
The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.51 per cent, to 9,523.55 points.
The total market cap reached 2,041,561,009,517 Egyptian pound.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 1,286,502,988 Egyptian pound, and 1,357,961,404 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians transactions were mainly buyers with 2,644,464,392 Egyptian pound.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation (EALR.CA) rose by 12.62 per cent, to close at the price of 38.810 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of General Company For Land Reclamation,Development & Reconstruction (AALR.CA) climbed by 10.62 per cent, to trade at the price of 42.390 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of El Obour Real Estate Investment (OBRI.CA) jumped by 9.29 per cent, to the purchasing price of 6.590 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) fell by 4.28 per cent, to close at 50.090 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of El Nasr For Manufacturing Agricultural Crops (ELNA.CA) declined by 4.26 per cent, to close at 15.070 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Emaar Misr for Development (EMFD.CA) dropped by 3.61 per cent, to close at the price of 6.410 Egyptian pound a share.
