Russia marginally depreciates rouble

The Bank of Russia on Tuesday, August 13, set the official dollar rate at 89.9475 roubles, marking an increase of 1 rouble and 96 kopecks from the previous rate.

The official euro rate was raised by 1.5 roubles to 96.6852 roubles. In contrast, the official yuan rate was set at 11.8756 roubles, a decrease of three kopecks.

The Central Bank announced on June 13 that it would base the official rates for the dollar and euro against the rouble on reports from banks regarding transactions in the over-the-counter currency market.
