Pakistan’s total liquid FX reserves up $173m in week – data
Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves saw an increase of $173 million during the week ended on August 9, reaching $14.645 billion, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.
The net liquid foreign reserves held by the SBP also posted a rise of $119 million to reach $9.272 billion as of August 9.
As for the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks, they reached $5.372 billion during the week under review, the data added.
