Singapore’s Olam to invest $22m in Egypt – Cabinet

Singapore’s Olam Group, a global leader in dried onions and spices production, is planning to boost its investment in Egypt by $22 million, bringing its total investment to $55 million, a Cabinet statement quoted managing director Prakash Jhanwe as saying on Sunday.

The company is expanding operations in Egypt due to the country’s resources, skilled workforce, and modern infrastructure. Jhanwe values the supportive business environment created by the Egyptian government.
