EU provides €1.2m aid to Typhoon-hit Myanmar

The European Union (EU) earmarked up to €1.2 million in humanitarian aid to support people severely impacted by Typhoon Yagi in Myanmar.

This assistance is part of a broader humanitarian response to the typhoon’s effects across several Southeast Asian countries.

In total, the EU has provided €2.2 million in humanitarian aid to support people affected by Typhoon Yagi in the region. This includes €650,000 for Vietnam, 200,000 euros for the Philippines, and €150,000 for Laos.
