Waleed Gamaleddin, Chairman of Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone’s (SCZone) emphasised the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to localise the green fuel sector, leveraging Egypt’s renewable energy sources like solar and wind power.
During a meeting with official from JETRO, he pointed to the series of investment incentives the Egyptian government has announced for the green fuel industry sector, enhancing SCZONE’s attractiveness as a leading hub for green fuel locally and globally.
He also stressed the need for cooperation between all parties and stakeholders to achieve time leaps in the green fuel sector, especially in light of Egypt’s availability of renewable energy sources such as solar and wind energy.
He explained that SCZONE’s strenuous steps in the field of green fuels could not have been achieved without the support of success partners and Egyptian institutions.
