Laos’ trade deficit posts $129m in August ’24

Laos recorded a trade deficit of $129 million in August 2024, with exports totaling $541 million and imports at $670 million.

Key exports included electric equipment, gold, rubber, and copper ore. Major imports were diesel, machinery, and vehicles, according to the Lao Trade Portal.
