Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.57 per cent, to 30,833.13 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 jumped by 0.18 to 3,183.19 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 climbed by 1.21 per cent, to 8,126.15 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 1 per cent, to 11,337.56 points.
The total market cap reached 2,227,705,157,074 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and the None-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 192,164,399 Egyptian pounds, and 214,301,694 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Egyptians were sellers with a total of 406,466,093 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Sunday
- Upper Egypt Flour Mills (UEFM.CA) shares rose by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 221.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
- General Silos & Storage (GSSC.CA) shares climbed by 19.44 per cent, to trade at the price of 230.970 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Misr Beni Suef Cement (MBSC.CA shares jumped by 11.89 per cent, to the purchasing price of 47.530 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- Mansourah Poultry (MPCO.CA) shares fell by 6.34 per cent, to close at 1.330 Egyptian pounds a share.
- North Cairo Mills (MILS.CA) shares declined by 4.94 per cent, to close at 40.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
- El Nasr For Manufacturing Agricultural Crops (ELNA.CA) shares dropped by 4.83 per cent, to close at the price of 18.730 Egyptian pounds a share.
