Japan’s Producer Price Index (PPI) edged up 0.2 per cent month-over-month in October 2024, the Bank of Japan (BOJ) said in a preliminary report. Excluding extra charges for summer electricity, the index rose 0.3 per cent month-over-month.
In terms of international trade, both export and import prices remained relatively stable. The Export Price Index remained unchanged, while the Import Price Index declined 0.2 per cent month-over-month.
