Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed mostly in green notes on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 increasing by 0.09 per cent, to 31,462.21 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 dipped by 0.04 per cent to 3,231.64 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 added 0.97 per cent, to 8,407.39 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 0.74 per cent, to 11,667.71 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,281,127,597,910 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 1,871,993,928 Egyptian pounds, and 2,033,937,584 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were sellers with 3,905,931,512 Egyptian pounds.

- Shares of Samad Misr -EGYFERT (SMFR.CA) soared by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 78.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Arab Valves Company (ARVA.CA) climbed by 19.49 per cent, to trade at the price of 3.740 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Cairo Poultry (POUL.CA) jumped by 9.71 per cent, to the purchasing price of 15.250 Egyptian pounds a share.

- Shares of Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) slid by 4.94 per cent, to close at 21.740 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Golden Coast Company (GOCO.CA) plummeted by 4.72 per cent, to close at 1.010 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Nozha International Hospital (NINH.CA) sank by 4.71 per cent, to close at the price of 8.290 Egyptian pounds a share.
