Uzbekistan’s economy grows in 1st 3Qs of ’24

Uzbekistan’s economy has shown robust growth in the first nine months of 2024, with a year-on-year increase of 6.6 per cent, as per a statement published by the statistics agency on Monday.

Key sectors contributing to this growth include agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, which expanded by 103.1 per cent, industry, which grew 107 per cent, construction, which rose 109 per cent, and the service sector, which expanded to 107.5 per cent.
