Myanmar’s foreign trade surpassed $15.4 billion from April 1 to October 25 in the current fiscal year 2024-25, according to a report by the Global New Light of Myanmar on Wednesday.
During this period, the country earned $8.5 billion from exports, while imports amounted to around $6.9 billion.
Myanmar’s primary exports include agricultural products, animal products, minerals, forest products, and finished industrial goods. The country’s imports consist mainly of capital goods, intermediate goods, raw materials, and consumer goods.
To further stimulate exports, Myanmar is actively implementing the National Export Strategy (NES) 2020-2025.
