Viet Nam’s imports of computers, electronic products, and components reached $4.52 billion in the first half of December, according to the latest data from the General Department of Customs.
This influx brings the total import value for this product category to $102.25 billion from the beginning of the year up to December 15th, reflecting the country’s growing demand for technological goods.
South Korea and China are the primary sources of these imports for Viet Nam. By the end of November, imports from South Korea totalled $31.53 billion, marking a significant 49 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
On the export side, Viet Nam’s exports of computers, products, and components reached $68.54 billion by December 15th, an increase of $14.38 billion or 26.6 per cent compared to the same period in 2023.
