S. Africa to raise fuel prices in Jan

South Africa’s government announced on Monday that the petrol price would increase by up to 19 cents per litre, while diesel would rise by up to 10.50 cents per litre starting January 1. The country’s fuel prices are adjusted monthly based on factors such as global oil prices and the rand’s exchange rate.
