Kyrgyzstan’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased 9 per cent to around $17 billion in 2024, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee on Tuesday.
In the previous year, the service sector made up 52.1 per cent of the GDP, while commodity production industries accounted for 33.4 per cent, and taxes on products contributed 14.5 per cent.
Refined petroleum products saw a 1.9-fold increase, while wood and paper products, including printing, grew by 30.5 per cent and food and tobacco products by 20.1 per cent, as per official data.
