During his meeting with German Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Xavier Bettel on Wednesday, El-Khatib reiterated the ministry’s commitment to attracting more European investments and facilitating the transfer of European industrial expertise and advanced technologies to Egyptian industries.

The parties agreed to establish regular follow-up meetings to monitor the progress of discussed initiatives, aiming to benefit both the Egyptian and Luxembourg economies, according to a Cabinet statement.

The discussion also highlighted Egypt’s substantial potential in the green hydrogen sector, recognised as a crucial sustainable solution to address energy and climate change challenges, the statement added.
